Feel like that hasn’t happened in a while.

I miss them deeper-sadness

Hexbear gets reaaaally hostile when it’s obvious that a person is acting in bad faith and not at all worth talking to. The crowd does not waste its time trying to engage bad faith actors and instead just switches over to hostility, pigpoopballs or fart noises.

If someone seems in good faith or willing to actually learn then it’s pretty reasonable.

I see it differently, I can feel a deep fire burning in almost all of Hexbear’s comments, quite different from most communities that just whine without purpose.

One day I’ll find out what this fire is aiming at. /s

That’s one of the best compliments I have ever received. Another was when I regular customer I had given my number to if they wanted me to send them reading material or podcasts on specific subjects randomly texted me one day to tell me they mentioned me at a house party vaguely and literally everyone was like “is that the cool anarchist commie guy at [grocery store]” Made me really think my agitprop in retail hell is not for nothing.

Usually the bad experiences people bring up are ones they instigate.

9/10 boils down to someone trying to be a debate pervert like ben Shapiro or trying to troll everyone.

Like no shit it’s a bad experience when you come in hostile from the start.

I love it when those people cry about civility because we use rude words. They think that they’ve managed to camouflage their rancid vibes just because they don’t swear.

Yeah it’s either that or someone getting defensive when people gently explain to them that something they said was (intentionally or not) extremely reactionary, insulting, bigoted etc. so then everyone just gives up being more polite than they deserved to begin with.
