I don’t know enough about Hummus to make a judgement on its flavor, etc., but I can say it’s on the BDS list, so, good enough for me.
And just in case the lack of context made things confusing here: Right wingers (“liberals”) recently dug up some clip of literally a bunch of minorities (Arab Muslim, Arab Jew, and a Christian, may also be Arab not super sure on that) doing a joking discussion that included ranking people by “if they can say habibi.” Sabara hummus was the “no, you’re too white” tier. Obviously all stupid jokes that Arab-Americans of various faiths were making.
They falsely claimed it meant “Jew tier” based on, I dunno, very normal Zionist delusions. The Gestapo, I mean ADL, assclowns got involved it seems and did some light arm twisting to get the Arab streamers banned. Meanwhile, advocating for genocide is fine. As long as you don’t say the victims of genocide are subhuman directly at the camera… but everything minus that is fine.
