I had the chance to shoot the PX4 Storm Compact Carry 2 at Beretta's Range Day in Vegas, and asked to send me the Langdon-customized versions for review.
Sizewise, the Storm is comparable to a Glock 19, which is technically a compact model.
Original Storm Compact vs Glock 19 picture for reference.
I personally do think it’s quite large. I think “pocket pistols” are a more practical size for 24/7 carry. I do know some people who manage to lug around Glock 19s or even full metal guns in the same size range. I guess it all comes down to trading off shootability vs easy of conceal/comfort. For me, I take note that most people I know IRL who start off in the full size or even “compact” size either eventually switch to a “pocket pistol” or they get lazy about carrying. There are a few hardcore holdouts who do carry bigger stuff, so I suppose it takes knowing if you’re the type to actually carry it or not.

It does look better without the optic…
The one in the article also has a flared magwell for some inexplicable reason on a supposed CCW.
Yeah, when they stood it on it’s nose I was like… er… em…
It looks like a brick.
