We know that Hamas tunnels were found in hospital complexes. We know by video evidence that hostages were taken to hospitals in plain sight. We know by hostage testimony that doctors kept them jailed. This story isn’t too far out of the scope of things.

Why is it important? The hospitals are financed by the World Health Organization, part of the UN. The US spends a lot of tax dollars supporting WHO, only for it to used by a terrorist organization

The allegation isn’t about the tunnels, it’s about the director of the hospital, other hospital staff, and other hospital infrastructure (ambulances) as being owned by Hamas that’s questionable due to having been obtained by interrogation techniques.

It may very well be true, but I’m not going to take the interrogators word that it is, nor should anyone else.

How would it be true for you though? It’s not like this evidence is likely to be sourced any other way. People are not going to admit to being used by a terrorist organization freely.

Gee, I dunno, maybe if Israel would let investigative reporters in without trying to kill them we might get some actual answers.

          https://cpj.org/2023/12/journalist-casualties-in-the-israel-gaza-conflict/

          "As of December 17:

64 journalists and media workers were confirmed dead: 57 Palestinian, 4 Israeli, and 3 Lebanese.

          13 journalists were reported injured.

          3 journalists were reported missing.

          19 journalists were reported arrested.

Multiple assaults, threats, cyberattacks, censorship, and killings of family members."

Now we’re on to journalists? Nice defection, but I think we’ll end this here.

              Deflection?

You said, “ It’s not like this evidence is likely to be sourced any other way.”

They said as paraphrased, “yes there is another way, letting journalists cover the topic”

And you called this deflection? You are the one not arguing in good faith.

If Israel actively eliminates journalists and has people confessing under interrogation, we should believe them why?

That being said, I don’t actually doubt there being tunnels. I just can’t see it as an excuse for genocide 🤷‍♂️ I don’t mind, give Hamas fighters a trial and make them pay for their crimes, totally fine.

Just don’t torture people in prison and then present it as evidence.

I like how he literally answered your question, with an answer that made perfect sense.

Gave resonas as to why this answer doesn’t exist yet.

And you still had the nerve to call it a defection. Pretty sure your goalposts don’t even exist at this point.

So going to a completely different subject works for you? Different strokes I guess.

It’s not a completely different subject.

The subject is “sources of information” and, in this case, investigative journalists are a more reliable source of information than interrogators.

I’d say the same about any information leaked out of, say, Abu Ghraib back in the day. Show me what an independent source has to say and we’ll talk. Until then? Information gained under duress is suspect.

Remember, anything that contradicts your preferred narrative should be charged as suspect.

Sorry to break it to you but you Hamas is nearly done.
