This man is a Senior Fellow of the Brookings Institute, previously Chief Economist of the Institute of International Finance and Chief Currency (FX) Strategist for fucking Goldman Sachs
He’s literally one of the people in the fucking backrooms for the hight priests of Capitalism and his brain’s being drained by the onslaught of speak-and-spell bots. Our so-called “elite” ruling class is rapidly off-loading their thinking and reasoning onto literal spam ad chatbots.
People are absolutely not embarrassed enough about llm use
off-loading their thinking and reasoning onto literal spam ad chatbots.
And not just any chatbot, but specifically the one that is never right even accidentally. Dude’s walking up to the machine that only lies and is always wrong and he’s like “finally, someone who agrees with me!”

deep down in the uncharted depths of my own psyche, i realize that all of my thinking and reasoning has already been offloaded to serve the interests of capital. this is so much easier it’s almost liberating…
I went trying to verify the claim that Nauru had bought fishing vessels from China and I found this website that documents a vessel made in China in 2025 now owned by and flying a Nauru flag, but I couldn’t find anything else. This is such a niche ass story that trying to search it up just brings up this twitter thread.
I would die of embarrassment if I ever made a post like this.
is 35 million dollars the amount of money you use to buy a fleet of fishing ships (or a cargo carrier whoever’s right) or is it an amount on the scale of the largest economy in the world diverting its output to evade tariffs?
Furthermore, yesterday you said other things now you’re saying new things. You can’t just change your story from diplomatic relationships changing trade balance to talking about what they buy! Sounds like lying to me!
If you want me to believe something you have to repeat it over and over again.

I couldn’t find any memorandum between Nauru and China though, certainly not signed in Dec. 2024
Honestly it seems like one of those super niche buisness things you gotta be a part of to know where to look for accurate details in the sea of souls that is the internet. Though it does seem like a nifty little rabbit hole to dive down in learning about international trade in regards to the transferring of massive industrial grade capital goods.
On the one hand it’s bad the high priests of capital are frying their brains because they’ll treat us even worse. On the otherhand, it’s very validating seeing these freaks believe in their own bullshit so much they fry their brains.
“CleverBot backs up my point so clearly you’re wrong. Yes you should still consider me an expert after farming out what little “work” I do to a glorified predictive text program”
