I’ve heard crocs look like clown shoes because they allow your toe more movement to help support your balance, which can help prevent atrophy of those muscles that’s really common with modern footwear and sedentary lifestyle. I don’t know why if this is true, but I will continue wearing crocs because they’re comfy
Modern shoes have narrow spaces that are bad for foot health. I dunno if they are better functionally though. They get me through a 12 hour shift on my feet so I am into it though

crocs are disgusting and unhygienic, bare skin on rubbery plastic is not a good idea, it always ends up smelling awful even from a distance. most deranged shoe design ever made. if you don’t wash them often you will get athletes foot and/or nail fungus.
