The one thing that’s hard for me to ignore is the massacre of the Fulani village mentioned by Human Rights Watch. I don’t know what his personal role was in all of that, but it’s definitely upsetting. Still, I’m not going to throw out all my support just because there was chaos at the start of building a free state.

I also remember seeing something about the roles being all jumbled in that HRW article. I don’t want to say specifics to mislead people. People more knowledgeable than me, what resources are there outside if HRW for this?
We have a huge lack of sources in Africa, so we basically either get western propaganda like HRW, or Russian websites like Sputnik Africa or the million cutouts they’ve set up. If anyone has telegrams they’d recommend please let me know
