I know some schools for example paint the eggs now, so the children/family can gift it to somebody or just so they hang already a while and don’t have to be taken down soon already
Like hard boiled eggs? They paint and gift eggs to people to hang up and rot for 3 weeks?
Oh maybe the way you poke little holes in the top and bottom and blow the actual egg out so it’s just the shell. That would make more sense.
Yeah the second method. Of course the children are not going to make master pieces that are kept for multiple years, but it’s still a nice gift for grandparents etc. In central and eastern Europe, there are some longstanding traditions with that method of egg painting. And some are really great pieces of art.
