It seems like that shit is becoming more and more common. Write an article about a noteworthy image, video or tweet and then just write about it without sharing the actual thing for context.
They should post an editorial correction to their person of the year. To really drive the point.

I think they’re two people with egos that can be used against them. We’ve seen foreign powers take advantage of this and I support the media doing the same.
At the end of the day, the checks and balances in our government were designed around people not wanting to share power (judicial vs executive vs legislative).
