I’m sure some exist, but you’re an exception in not wanting that at all; most people want sex appeal and some romance.

Sex is an intrinsic part of being human and influences a lot of our decisions, it’s only natural for it to be in our media.

      This is what I said:

Great idea. I would love a prominent TV show to have main characters of the opposite sex that are good friends and a romance is never shoehorned into it at any point.

      A prominent TV show.

      As in one. Singular.

So I’m not sure where you have gotten it into your head that I want no romance at all in media.

main characters of the opposite sex that are good friends

These days you’ll get romance with characters of the same sex too, detracting. If you only look at the main characters, maybe. But a show without romance at all? No.

          For fuck’s sake…

          For the third time:

Great idea. I would love a prominent TV show to have main characters of the opposite sex that are good friends and a romance is never shoehorned into it at any point.

Since you need this re-clarified for you, I’ll do it a fourth time:

I am talking about the main characters of a single TV show and, since you need further clarification, main characters of a single TV show who are both heterosexual and opposite genders who have no romantic feelings toward each other,

Do I need to be even clearer?

As for your suggestion that queer romance is as commonplace as heterosexual romance on TV now, that’s just laughably untrue.
