I won’t dispute that the black community has some reasons to distrust banks, but it says a lot that the prescription for addressing systemic racism in banking is to regulate scam tokens

I’m not even sure if this is a call for regulation or just a vague encouragement to put money in a highly volatile planet-burning dubious investment that arguably has a more white and pasty ruling class bigots dominating it. flashbang

Oh, takes me back to those crypto clowns that made accounts on Hexbear just to tell us all that we’re ignorant and against the real revolution if we don’t buy into the internet funny money.

The only way to beat Wall Street’s casino is to buy chips in the new bazinga casino (also owned by Wall Street!).

“We want an alternative to the traditional industry with its captured regulations that help the rich and hurt people like us.”

“We hear you and we’re here to help. We propose folding alternative markets into the traditional industries so than can be held to the standards of existing regulations.”

I think the campaign has a profound - and somewhat comedic - misunderstanding of the entire situation.
