Other care instructions—highlighted in this YouTube video at 23 minutes in—reveal how delicately Cybertruck owners need to treat their stainless steel electric SUVs. The washing stipulations alone include, somewhat amazingly, “Do not wash in direct sunlight,” “Some cleaners and car shampoos contain chemicals that can cause damage or discoloration,” and even “Do not use hot water.”

“Do not wash your Cybertruck in sunlight” wtaf is it a car or the bastard child of a vampire and a gremlin

Stainless steel also stains. “Stainless” does not mean “never stains,” just that it stains less than other steels.
No-tear shampoo-ass metallurgy
While I am enjoying the riffs on that mediocre vehicle, it’s standard auto detailing 101 to not wash a car in direct sunlight. The evaporating water leaves water spots, and the additives in the water (soaps, waxes) can make it worse. Once when I was 17, I washed and waxed my dark color truck in 100°f California sunlight and the wax baked on and completely dissolved the clear coat of the truck before I could buff it off. So one side of the truck was glossy (buffed in time) and the other side was matte (buffed too late)
Sounds pretty cool if you ask me
Do not go grocery shopping to buy garlic with the cybertruck or it will cause critical battery failure!
“Why does everyone have to hate on my vision? This truck is designed for The Apocalypse! Do you think there is going to be HoT wAtEr, CaR sHaMpOo, or DiReCt SuNlIgHt in The Apocalypse?!”
Robots will blow up the sun.
The truck can’t see itself in a mirror and it transforms into a wolf under full moonlight.
When it said Gremlin, I thought it meant the car. I’m not a car person, but I always thought Gremlins were cool:
