at certain points in the '68 election, Nixon basically implied he’d call for peace and end the war. saying Trump could do the same doesn’t mean we believe him, just that it’s a proven strategy he’ll likely use.
It’s quite funny that liberals can’t comprehend that politicians (including theirs) lie for votes when Genocide Joe did exactly that in the general election, and is doing it right now about the very thing they are discussing
