The US government is looking for places to drive a wedge between Israelis in order to advance its plans with the help of Gantz

Lmao talk about biting the hand

Their little colonial project exists almost entirely because their (current) Western suzerain’s plans in the region necessitate its existence. This has been true for the past 50 years if not 75. Just because they’ve gotten a little something out of this arrangement and can exert some influence because they’re deemed an asset doesn’t change that. Their predecessors are well aware of this but have tried to cope by saying that Israel’s plans and America’s plans are one and the same. Guess that doesn’t work anymore.

Things like this tend to happen when the older narrative orchestrated to disguise the reality of the situation isn’t taken with so much as a fraction of a grain of salt by the younger generations.

Some of them may flatter themselves that way but ultimately the US and its allies want it to get a W out of this, up to and including a successful genocide and annexation of Gaza. They’re all on the same page that October 7th might have potentially been a mortal blow to Israel and consequently American ambitions in West Asia.

    Gantz

Inappropriate timing but Gantz is a very problematic manga but the overarching plot at the end is revealed to revolve around

    spoiler

racist aliens that look suspiciously like humans that live in futuristic western-like cities invading Earth with superior technology to steal land, resources, slaughter resisting humans, and herd the surviving humans like cattle for food and amusement
