    Can’t tell if you’re being serious, but I’ll explain the phrase’s origins anyways.

    It apparently originated from John Steinbeck, typically the phrase is cited as “temporarily embarrassed millionaire” these days though.

    “I guess the trouble was that we didn’t have any self-admitted proletarians,” wrote John Steinbeck of his fellow Americans. “Everyone was a temporarily embarrassed capitalist.”
