The tangent about the uncertain nature of the emperor was really the highlight. That intentionally written vagueness is an important part of the tone.

I like his coherent theory about the emperor’s death, which is pulled together and supported from various bits of fluff, but given the flexible nature of the vague lore, could just as easily be rearranged for an alternate theory.

Anyway, the LotD marines look rad. Just one more cool kit I never picked up.
