Oh hey, I didn’t realize we had a best of lemmy community!
Not sure if you can ping people on here, but @[email protected]
The pings do work indeed, my friend. This is hilarious though. I didn’t know we had this either. Glad that there was some entertainment to be given out there as well. Thanks @[email protected] for that honor <3 I’ve got a few stories so I’m glad that they’re not going to waste.
@[email protected] & @[email protected]
You’ve been the most iconic Duo for me, since i started Lemmying. Thank you for posting the content that keeps me from sleeping at night and waking up early to go to work ;)
No - seriously, you guys never think about quitting being you!
Can’t speak on behalf of @[email protected] but I know that I’ve had a huge blast doing it and no plans on stopping. From how Picard posts I doubt he’s slowing down either.
Don’t quit being awesome yourself!
Aw, thanks!
I’m just having fun and trying to do my part to support the fediverse growing. Glad you’re enjoying the memes!
I was inspired by r/Slash’s reddit reads and thought I’d help out get a Best of Lemmy going!
I did make this community mostly for experimentation. “Meta” discussion, where we talk about Lemmy itself, seems like one of the best ways to experiment (pings, replies, federation, etc. etc.). I do wish to encourage as much experimentation with a more casual environment.
So yeah, that’s the overall idea behind this “BestOf” community. I can’t say I was very active in the Reddit side of things, but the need for it on Lemmy (especially as users seem confused about pings / federation / etc. etc.) is much more needed, so that yall can feel like learning the platform better!
Feel free to ask me any questions about Lemmy. I’m part of the July-rush of Lemmy users (back when Reddit first started having shenanigans).
I’m glad you thought to make this one!
Subject field says passes. Page says failed. Get your shit together, bot.
Oof, you’re right. Still haven’t figured out how to edit the title yet.
Edit: Fixed!
