Why does Branagh keep making these? Are they successful? I thought the last one tanked at the box office.
First one hit $352 million worldwide on a budget of $55 million.

Third one has a budget of $60 million.
So they’re cheap and they make money.
The first one was great, the second not so much, hopefully they get it back this time.
I love them and will watch every one that they make. I loved both knives out and glass onion too. Maybe it’s the movie type for me? Clue is kick ass as well.
I dont get the question.
So only make movies that make a lot of money? What if He just enjoys making them?
Also, Just anecdotally, murder Mysteries are one of the few Films my GF and in can enjoy together. So I look forward to These Films. There arent many New and well produced/good looking Films (even if the Script isnt that tight) that we both can enjoy together.
They are fun and have an old school charm.
COVID was the reason for the last one having issues.
I enjoy them and they are cheap to make.
The theater was about 80% full on a Thursday night. That’s not bad
