Venus flytrap flowers [OC]
My Venus flytrap has sprouted a long stem with some pretty little flowers at the end. The purpose of the long stem is to help keep pollinators away from the traps.
Based on how often I see Venus flytraps online, I am still astounded that they’re native to only North and South Carolina.
Fortunately, I guess, they’re relatively easy to cultivate, because their habitat keeps shrinking.
