    He knows he has to say that or you will eviscerate him. Conservatives lie about their true feelings when they think it will negatively impact them. They have no courage.

      I’ve all but given up on bridging the divide, but something in me wants to find one “conservative” person who is sane and honest but just somehow honestly has a huge blind spot

        They are out there but they aren’t going to be talking to you on social media. They’re not plugged in like that. Hence the blind spots.
