Any time I catch a lib saying anything about undecided costing them the election, I point out “Kamala basically turned to the camera and said ‘Fuck you if you care about Gaza, we’ll win without you.’

surely this will cause these people to abandon the democratic party and begin the path to radicalization right guys clueless

    doomerism

before i get accused of being a doomer: why come out with this now, it clearly didnt actually bother you bad enough to reveal it during the campaign. so sorry bombala “most lethal military in the world” harriSS was a dogshit candidate and so now you have to deal with a dang cheeto in the white house. notice how the organizer blames “top harris campaign leaders”, no fault assigned to kid killer kamala ofc.

But Biden and Harris, while acknowledging the concerns about the soaring death toll in Gaza, were unwilling to upend decades of U.S. policy.

Sure, the the tragedy is immense and will echo through history, but have you considered the fact that ending it would be breaking precedent?

  • I had a convo one of their phone bank people, their response was literally IDPOL. The lady talking to me said she was Jewish. She didn’t have an answer to my case against Israel, but said that having a woman in the white house would basically bring in some sort of wisdom and there would be a “better chance” at a resolution to Gaza.

Angela Merkel also repeatedly referred to the security of Israel as Germany’s historical duty and “reason of state” angular-merkel

Ah yes, the Staatsräson. Angela Merkel’s macchiavellianism is a very under-discussed topic, people still don’t get how deeply ruthless she is because she’s so successful at maintaining the facade of being the harmless elderly lady next door who bakes apple crumble.

Dems and their vocal supporters are just selfish and pathetic assholes. First they thought they would win without the people wanting the genocide to stop. Then they said Trump would be worse because genocide 2.0. Then they lost and start dabbing on Palestine supporters for what was done to Palestinians under Trump as though there hadn’t been a genocide under Democrats. I’m sorry but anyone that has any expectations of the Dems, both candidates and supporters is a total clown ass in my book.

Well that’s because they decided to focus on the 50% of the population that don’t vote, right? Would be crazy to ignore your constituents for the sake of some person who is pretty well set on voting republican, when there’s so many people who just plain don’t vote

      That article is aggravating.

The warnings didn’t work. “It was striking was that there just wasn’t recognition of the real life and death stakes,” said the official, who was granted anonymity to speak candidly. “Everyone respected that there was grief and pain. But how do you ignore being told countless times, ‘Here is a direct quote of Trump saying he wants Gaza leveled’?”

Real life and death stakes? People were fucking dying and you’re saying THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND THE LIFE AND DEATH STAKES?!! Of course they knew Trump was outwardly pro-Israel but that didn’t mean they were too stupid to understand that Biden and Harris were just as much, they just had slightly better rhetoric, which doesn’t matter at all to people’s current material conditions.

I don’t know how I can talk to my Dem organizer friends if they think and talk like this. It’s hopeless if this is their thoughts and strategy. And they don’t seem to have learned anything, either. The article was so biased, too. It dedicated a lot more words and space to the unrepentant Dem campaign staff over the Palestinian-Americans, their US voting movements, and their reasons.

I honestly wonder how these people would react if you told them that the reason you couldn’t vote for Kamala was because she’s “too much like Trump.”

Because the flip side of Trump doing the same thing as Kamala but worse is that Kamala was offering to do the same thing as Trump but better.

Jesus fucking christ how do they not understand this.

My vote for PSL was intended to punish the DNC for supporting genocide, with the hope that Gaza would get a short or medium term ceasefire. My line in the sand is: you cannot support a genocide and get my vote to remain in office.

Pretty obvious how they’d react. They’d say Kamala is the lesser evil.

          • I propose preemptively refuting this by explaining how they’re at least on the same order of magnitude of evil, but the libs on both sides of course have party mentality where their candidate can do no wrong

They didn’t ignore you, you ignored them pointing out that you were at that very moment doing the leveling.

They’ll never learn, they’ll never change because they never actually cared.
