Love that the title perfectly reflects the attitudes and intelligence of this community

Edit: title has since been corrected

HOC = house oversight committee, acronyms that aren’t common knowledge are typically defined in the previous or same sentence to aid the reader, may help you in the future

Yeah, you pretty defined the one acronym which is already defined in the text… Meanwhile I’m sitting here wondering what the hell is UAP. United Arab Patrolmen? Uniform Afghan Police? Unassisted Analysis Paradigm? Ah, I got it: Unknown Acronym Poster.

Just saw this, that’s on me. I made the assumption people knew it as it’s frequently used with the topic. UAP was Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, but was recently changed officially to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon to broaden the scope of things that could fit into the area of study. Another reason is that some agencies were dodging the law that requires reporting given the definition was specific to things in the air, and not space or water.

The hearings should stop if only because hearing someone talk about the things he heard someone else saw is absolutely pointless. Bring evidence or STFU.

If you are referring to DG, then I feel this sentiment is misplaced. He interviewed first hand accounts with the evidence necessary to take the message to the forefront. Also, if Sen. Rubio, and Sen. Gillibrand are to be believed they confirmed that witnesses feel threatened for their lives, in some cases. Armed with this knowledge we can only guess why these first hand accounts would prefer a 3rd party intermediary providing the ammunition to the public. The only hope we can have is that in private these reports are being given to Congress, which, again, based of the senators appears to be the case.

Evidence is classified and can’t be shown to you. It has already been shown to a bunch of people with the necessary clearances. Is it so hard to understand? Want to see some evidence? Then write letters to your elected representatives to have it declassified.

I really hope we see push back against this by other reps, it seems they were definitely getting close to something “they” didn’t want people to know. It would be a shame and blatantly transparent something is up if they were stopped now.

Also isn’t the whole point of an oversight committee to uncover things that’re being hidden, especially if they’re “embarrassing”???

“We can’t confirm that other life exists outside of earth because then God didn’t create life…”

The idea that life Intelligent life exists outside of earth would append the entire aspect of organized religion…where planet earth is the center and “origin story” for everything that has existed

Imagine the idea that earth isn’t the center of everything and “religious” conservatives explode

Translation: We later found out these were secret programs of other countries, so releasing footage of our military personnel being confused would be embarrassing
