Conversely the near famine in 2022 was averted by Afghanistan skirting the OFAC via something called the hawala system: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/07393148.2024.2339127 Maybe if the people writing and falling for this article care about the Afghan population they should push for an end to the sanctions.
Funny, I can’t find one use of the word ‘sanctions’ in the post.
