put all of your election posting here so it doesn’t bother anyone else!

from @[email protected]:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

You should lean into how useless Democrats are. I can’t remember if it was Hasan or Ettingermentum last night on Hasan’s stream, but one of them made the point that its not the left that’s unpragmatic and ideological, its the Democratic leadership. Progressive policies are widely popular with the voters they need to win, including the socially conservative Latino’s who just voted for Trump, but the Democrats would rather the party lose and remain right-wing than have to compromise with those progressive voters and give them policies they want. I feel like from there, most people here should be able to tie that back to the class interests of Democratic insiders.

its best to not call them stupid or gullible lol

I’m going to be really bad at this, TBH. (Online, anyway. I can actually manage it pretty well offline…unless they’re family.)
