It’s the banality of evil. They are so casual about murder because they never actually see what suffering it creates. It’s like they are wearing mental blinders
Their casualness on the issue conveys a lack of urgency to people who are only casually engaged with world news and the presidential campaign. This makes those (rightfully) engaging on the same issue with a sense of urgency seem, to those casuals, shrill and alarmist by comparison. Wouldn’t you want to believe the person calmly reassuring you that issue is being dealt with?

Engineering students graduating and going to work for Lockheed matin and other defense contractors which report to America and it’s client state Isntreal are truly no better, and I will die on this hill.
