Gonna be honest, I’m failing to see how having your once vehement detractors campaign for you is somehow a bad move. It seems like, if anything, a power move. IDK.

Liberals love laughing at Trump when he brings up Tulsi Gabbard on stage like she’s going to siphon votes from Dems

Why do you think Liberals made fun of Trump parading Tusli Gabbard around? I believe Liberals were right to make fun of that.

We make fun of Trump and anyone who supports him for being a terrible person and a genuine idiot. Vance used to denigrate him too, now he’s the running mate (and notorious couch fucker) so we rip on him as well.

We like Kamela since she’s not a terrible person or a generally raving lunatic/narcissist.

Do you see the difference in these two situations?

Ignoring that, there’s basically one democrat that decided to turn into a jackass, while Trump is so toxic there’s a long list of party liners (for decades in many cases) openly endorsed a minority female democrat candidate.

I’d buy into that point if I saw even a fraction as much effort put into pushing out Xi, Putin, or even Netanyahu as I ever do people arguing against the nominee for the US democratic party. Hardly a word against the ones actually doing the killing and war crimes, but lots of blame for a US presidential candidate…

Xi, Putin, and Netanyahu aren’t US politicians. They don’t represent me. Harris does.

I will happily call Putin and Netanyahu war criminals, but I don’t know how I can affect them over here in the US. (I don’t know enough about Xi to say that about him.)

Tulsi Gabbard was ridiculed for being a Russian plant long before she was running for Trump. The ridicule is because she never was serious about any Dem policy and it was obvious.

Turns out that an angry mob coming to your workplace with the intent of harming and/or murdering you can make you rethink your life choices.

Don’t get me wrong, Liz Cheney is as conservative as they come. I am not going to try to defend her political ideology. Her campaigning for the democratic nominee is not something I would have ever seen coming only a few years ago. But she has a major axe to grind with Trump. Honestly, can you blame her?

This is not the same as the Republicans who go from criticizing Trump to boot licking overnight in hopes of getting a few scraps from the table. Liz got effectively exiled from the GOP and she will never have any standing with the Democrats. Her political career is most likely finished. She doesn’t really stand to gain anything from this. She just really doesn’t want Trump to be re-elected and is willing to do what she can to prevent that from happening. On that particular subject, Liz Cheney and I are in rare agreement.

Before that Trump performed like a perfectly stable individual. Nothing was wrong with him and then Jan6 happened out of nowhere! Everyone said he was the bestest most stablest and wisest! Who could have seen it coming?
