    imagine if mushrooms were actually dormant super weapons designed by aliens. the second they detect the use of nuclear weapons all mushrooms go into gestational mode. They feed off the residual power of nuclear pollution and grow gigantic mushroom monsters deep underground to reset any technolgical civilizations on the planet to prevent them from destroying all life on the planet.
