I’ll name one for those three categories:
- Albums: A Perfect Circle’s Eat the Elephant, in 2018
- TV shows: Obi-wan Kenobi, in 2022
- Movies: Malignant, in 2021

I’ll name one for those three categories:

Man, Phantom Menace being the worst Star Wars movie when it came out is like George W. Bush being the dumbest US president: those were simpler times, somehow.
I’ll say the prequels aged better than I’d remembered them, though. And they get a lot better with the existing fanedits, especially HAL9000’s take on Episode I, which trims a lot of the dumb humour, dials down the Jar Jar antics significantly and tightens the plot a nice bit, to make it more of a classic Star Wars adventure.

Looks like it’s time to let my babies grow up to be cowboys.

Nice to see the heavy space dad rock genre isn’t dead! Spot on recommendation, OP.

Aww, would you look at that? They think they’re the President.

Fair enough. Just because he filled it with nonsense in the Hobbit before doesn’t mean he won’t learn from his mistakes.
Would love some cheesy B movies’ remakes, by people who understand the cult following and wouldn’t take themselves too seriously. Like Mario Bava’s Demons. I mean, riding a motorcycle down the stairs like Cloud Strife and chopping off demons’ heads with a katana in the middle of a random demonic invasion in a movie theater sounds awesome. Why can’t we have Fede Alvarez take a crack at that?

Films, as in multiple movies just for Silmarillion, like he did for the Hobbit? Guess that’s very thoughtful of him to think about letting the fanedit community have another moment to shine in saving his bloated adaptation.

Oh man, about ten years ago I lucked out and found an early Uk press on my local record store that was pretty beat up. Thing about Maiden LPs though, even if there are a lot of scuffs and crackle, the music ends up overpowering the noise from the disc.
For me, it’s Killers and Number of the Beast that I haven’t been able to hunt down.

Well, that’s what you get when you put in power a son of a bitch for a king.

Great news for data sovereignty! Let’s hope more in the europe follow suit.

Nice Pioneer you got there, and the arm is a beauty, too.

An all too familiar story. Some early CDs from these 90s bands are pretty good, though (before everything went to brickwall city), but IIRC I don’t think Badmotorfinger’s one of the better ones.
Now, try imagining the Junkions speaking Fox News TV.

I guess, the three bottom ones are mid-bass, I think. Then, the top ones are mids and tweeters (not too sure how to put it into English). It has a speaker underneath, as well, that acts like a subwoofer.

Music is a powerful medium, it can connect you to people you’ve never met feeling the same things you’re feeling and helping you make sense of it, especially when you’re a teen. It’s a shame Chris couldn’t make it through his own hell, but I like to think he (and obviously others) gave everyone else a better chance at life, through his art.

It really sucks when you have to give up your records. It’s especially painful for those grunge early pressings, because some of the analogue tapes got lost or people starting moving towards DAT or other formats. But, hey, there’s a lot people out there bringing up these records back, it’s just a matter of time before they make another badass pressing you can buy in stores.

Hells yeah! How does Wheels of Fire sound? Did you have any previous pressing to compare to?

Bummer that they do that. Any platform that you can recommend that addresses that issue and is user-friendly?
Yes! That’s what actually got me into Star Wars fanedits and fanedits in general, he made the whole prequel trilogy into a unified experience. Saw one based on his editing notes and liked it, but through the years I’ve come to enjoy other takes from the movies, as well.
