Something i struggled with in the beginning;

How it works;

• you pick an account name, (short and cryptic)
• it checks if it’s unique. if so, then it generates an SSL style certificate. This is your identity and contains a private key and only exists on your device. This thing acts as your password and identity. Losing this thing is fatal. nobody else has a copy. So you have to back it up yourself. There’s an option in the app to back it up. (it is saved in some zip format)
• then you enter a screen name.
• you can install your identity in any amount of devices. But you can also easily give every device it’s own account.

i use this app on my devices(telephones, laptops), so that i can easily share any file (photo and documents) between them. photo’s are sent losless, unlike whatsapp.

Oh… and another thing;

Because it’s serverless technology, it’s dependant on all other nodes in the system to form a mesh.

Whenever a node switches networks (e.g. when the software is running on a cellphone and you switch from WiFi to cell-band, or you’re switching cell towers), then it has to re-initialize with its peers under the new IP address.

in such case it helps when, from your profile-settings, you switch your profile off and on again.

Did you know that ivermectin is mainly a product for humans, and received the nobel prize in 2015? it’s not as bad as we were told during covid. Also, Merck sponsored mectizan for human use to African countries since 1987(see mectizan.org). Too bad though that the human product was banned in the US, and because of that people went as far as taking the animal grade stuff.

What strikes me… They had zero evidence of harm for use of human-grade ivermectin with covid, but they banned it. But they also had zero evidence of paracetamols effect on covid, but they adviced it for treatment.

No way… ‘boring’ is their takeaway oneliner? i can only imagine that such headline is meant to steer the lazy reader away from actual thinking.

My brother had 10 days covid and was bedridden. i called him, and i was dumbfounded that he was so sick for that long and thinking he would recover without any intervention. his judgment was clearly impaired… His test came back positive the 11th day. we arranged a knowledgeable GP. they subscribed ivermectin(against virus) and antibiotics(against pneumonia). The 12th day at evening(as soon as he had the medicines) he began his regimen. within 4 days he was back on his feet.

That is a lie, and shows a complete lack of how a baby is even formed. I work in a level 1 trauma center as a clinical pharmacist. We have had fetuses that have been born as early as 23 weeks and survived but its RARE (age of viability is usually agreed to be 24 weeks) … a healthy fetus will not be aborted past 24 weeks without serious health issues for either the fetus or the mother.

Finally, let me just say that the thing that makes me the most pissed off and sick to my stomach is how woman and girls who are raped are forced to carry to term an abomination inside them. They got no choice when they were being raped, and the get no choice to move past that horrible moment in their life. Girls as young as 10 years old, are raped and forced to carry a baby for 9 months, have a C-section because their vaginal canals are too small. Almost every conservative state that banned abortion after the supreme court, purposely left out the carve outs for rape or incest. That is disgusting.

Let me be clear again; Planned parenthood is not in it for rape victims! if you think so, imo you’re deceived. instead of providing fetus removal as a fix, grown ups should not sleep around before mutual comitment. What i learned of abortion victims (via an event i went), is the missing aftercare at “planned parenthood” for women thinking abortion is a pretty mild procedure, but found out the hard way and are left with trauma.

The bible tells christians not to judge or be “meddlers/busybodies”, I am not christian and I do not follow the bible. I think it is fine if Christian conservatives want to do that, but you don’t get to hide behind christianity then. You chose to be a christian. You don’t get to chose if you follow the bible or not. That is on you. If you feel called out maybe you should relook at your own christianity. (or lack there of)

The Bible says, stand behind what you know to be true, and don’t fear people for the bad things they will do to you. The heavier things of the Law are 1)righteous judgment 2)love mercy 3)walk humbly with your God. And that’s about how to compose yourself and not about ‘others’.
