Lemmy sucks.
As bad as The Hobbit is as a trilogy, there was some good stuff there and I’m glad we got those movies.
Same! I have a physical media collection as well as a digital media collection.
Subtitles for most movies are really easy to find online. I use subtitlist.net for this, and Subtitle Edit for obscure items in my collection that don’t have publicly available subtitles online.
If you put the SRT files in the same directory as your items, with the same name, PLEX should pull it and use it as the subtitle for the movie or episode it belongs to.
Yeah I was also surprised at how entertaining it was (although I’m beginning to think that the pod race sequence was basically ripped from the 1959 Ben-Hur chariot race sequence lol). People complain about the politics, and I enjoyed how they were being used in the movie (although I kinda wished they showed exactly how the people of Nabboo were being oppressed exactly).
That clip of The Acolyte made me excited too, although a bit wistful since we won’t be able to see the series in theaters at all. That would be so much fun. I have a fair bit of faith in it despite all the noise because some of the writers have written House Of The Dragon and Mr. Robot episodes, I think if the show ends up being bad they’d have to have done that on purpose lol. Review bombing the trailers is completely ridiculous.
Autopilot and Full Self-Driving, do not make the vehicles autonomous and require drivers to keep their hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.
That’s completely false lol
It’s probably widespread, it’s not that different than how it looks on my 2019 4K copy of the movie. It’s just more noticeable because it’s on a huge projector.
I do hope that the splotchy pixels issue was isolated to the theater I went to though. I found it bizarre and have never seen anything like it at a theater before.
I saw this at an AMC BTW
The only reason I’m not surprised is because this was basically going to kill the game. Nobody was going to play it after this change, and I don’t think that’s something Sony wanted to risk.
I’m not entirely shocked by this
Only if you get those responsibilities by staying in the same company rather than getting hired in the same role by another one
lol prolly
Interesting!
Freaking love this game
Those protections include setting a baseline for minimum terms and conditions with regards to AI voice replicas, along with requiring actors to authorise their voice for use in such projects and negotiate around how and where their digital double is used. The agreement also allows performers to opt out of letting their AI voice be used in the future if they decide against it later on.
In other words, rather than opposing the replacement of actors by AI as a whole, the deal looks to try and put control of any AI recreations in the hands of actors through formal licensing - wresting back some power from AI tools that harvest thousands of creators’ work without any kind of credit or compensation.
That all seems very fair to me.
This is so cool
What the heck is an “open world dress-up game” lol
