They already have magsafe chargers. TBH that would be the best move for Apple. The downside would be no more direct cable data backups. That makes me think no choice but USBC for this next phone.

I’ve almost finished transition to iCloud. No issues at all. I value my privacy more and more and with news google is going to train their LLMs on your content it was a no brainer for me.
Yes I believe it’s hardware. You wouldn’t see consistent issues like this ubiquitously. I could honestly be the RAM/memory as well because on my old Mac I use to get constant beach balls and it turned out HDD and 1 ram stick had issues.
I feel the most likely thing would be a bad battery. But if it’s not the battery then it gets expensive because intermittent issues are always the hardest to debug in hardware.
I prefer using the default mail app.
Had ACL surgery 10 years ago. Running has reduced the load on my knee so much that I can’t even tell I had surgery on it.
