Honestly, I’m mostly confused–it’s like watching an AU with WOT characters. I think I’m watching it at face value now as its own unique storyline and have given up on trying to see Jordan’s plot.

I’ve always advised that there are three reasons to join the military: you feel an actual calling to do so, you have a family and no other way to support them, or you don’t know what to do with yourself so you have Uncle Sam take care of you for four years so you can work it out. (I was option three: I ended up staying for eight.)

I would also advise my kids or anyone else to only consider the Air Force, the Space Force (even though it’s still in beta) or the Coast Guard: while there are dangers with any branch, it seems that in-country if the bullets or IEDs don’t kill you quickly, exposure to burn pits and other toxins will kill you slowly.

There seems to be two choices: compression vests, which do come in adult sizes, and weighted vests for working out, which is what I was thinking of. It looks like you can get one at Walmart for $26 or so that can be weighted up to 110 lbs. Hope that’s helpful!

Would a weighted vest be too constricting? They come in different styles and the ability to add or subtract weights.

I take 10mgIR in the morning and 10mgIR in the afternoon. There is appetite suppression, but not bad. The strangest side effect is sleeping in on the weekends–before Adderall, I hadn’t been able to sleep past 7 for many years. Now, I can easily sleep until noon. There are much worse side effects, but it’s bit annoying to waste a good portion of my day off sleeping.

I support this, but we need to be careful: Portland legalized pretty much everything, and now it’s making the New York Times about how awful things have become with an overwhelming population of addicts living in the streets.

Yes, let’s make these substances available for therapeutic treatments, but there needs to be wide-scale recovery treatment available before this gets underway so we don’t get a flood of people looking for LSD/E paradise.

Owning a pet responsibly is like owning a car: there is the expense of regular maintenance, and then every so often you have to drop a wad of money for a major repair.

Don’t get me wrong, my animals are worth it, but I think some first-time pet owners don’t realize this.

No idea about your cars, but my cats? Because they can eat them when I don’t feel them fast enough in the morning and then I have to the vet because they can’t yak them up or pass them.

I appreciate that some doctors are concerned that a med will lose its effectiveness because of tolerance, but can happen with any medication. That’s also why there are multiple medications on the market.

Habitica for daily tasks (I like the RPG feel), gobin.tools for breaking down tasks into manageable increments, and the pomodoro app Focus To-Do to keep momentum. I use a paper calendar for appointments and dates and index cards to keep track of tasks that don’t have a specific date involved.
