Controller is just fine for our 4-player party. Having played Divinity on PC, I know kb+m will be easier but I didn’t think controller was particularly restrictive.

The tutorial segment is very weird for Remnant. My partner died before the ‘final stand’ segment of it (and before she had even seen all the control prompts) and she was shown the cutscene and dropped off at the Ward!
The game is definitely Souls-lite, and some of the bosses can be brutal (I have not finished my first run of the game, for reference), but I found it to be a fun time with friends. And it appears number 2 dials things up and addresses some of my issues with the game.
This batch of games feels so incredibly specific for me. I’ve just got through the bulk of Starfield and I’m looking forwards to playing other games alongside it, so this is the perfect batch to get lost in for the next few weeks!
6 weeks to complete 20 free tiers? Think the fomo angle is dead in the water.
343 has been killing it this last couple of seasons and I’m glad to see the general discourse around the game changing for the better!
But you’ll have 4 to 6 weeks to unlock 20 tiers of content.
There is no grind to the game and this is just giving more active progression throughout the season.
In fact, paying for an Operation pass only gets you 1 additional reward. Hardly fomo.
Depending on the end user though, it isn’t just a band-aid. DLSS can help add new life to aging cards and prolong their life for a user that may not be in a position to drop money on a new card.
Not everyone is coming to the table with the latest hot and fresh systems to hit the most technically demanding games and DLSS helps them get those most out of their rigs.
Looks great!
My only complaint is the bonus being another Bulldog model change considering S4s BP ended with getting one!
I was a little worried we’d be getting a half-baked implementation of campaign AI, but I’m so so glad to see I was wrong!
This is a huge upgrade for Forge, and I cannot wait to see what people do with it!
Considering the viewership HCS gets, there’s clearly a solid baseline for the player-base so it’ll be nice to watch it grow with all the new content!
I’m so hyped for this season, and glad to hear you are too!
See you on the battlefield, Spartan!
I’ve been playing every season, but we’re on the cusp of some great content here! Some friends of mine aren’t enjoying the MP as much because of how sweaty every match is, so firefight and custom forge maps with AI will hopefully add so much for them.
Titanfall 2 is well worth playing for it’s campaign. It’s only a few hours long, but it’s a roller coaster and features some of the best level design in the 2010s.
I think latest was Titanfall 3 got canned for continued Apex development :(
Obviously different marketing preferences, but I hadn’t stopped hearing about this game for months
Great to hear Citizen Sleeper 2 is coming day 1!
I looked the other day and there’s a couple. The one I looked at seemed quite new, but as I haven’t played the game in a while, I wasn’t too pressed about joining the community! I’m just waiting for the ill-fated board game adaptation to arrive
Gris is quite short, only a few hours long. But it’s a beautiful game, especially at it’s climax. Definitely do recommend getting to it this time!
I, too, have heard good things! A friend actually bought it for me just two days prior to the gamepass announcement!
Absolutely agreed on Celeste - I haven’t played for a few years, so I’ve a hankering to pick it up again
I’m not saying to stop being cynical, but it’s developed by Massive Entertainment - one of Ubisoft’s best studios. I know The Division games weren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they got a lot of things right when other Ubisoft titles struggle
For a film of this scope, $20M is tiny! They manage to save quite a lot by filming the entire thing within a short window, and keeping the number of VFX shots needed to a minimum.
Just want to chime in as someone that has played both:
Both games have a nostalgic longing for games of the 90s, but that is about the only similarity between them!
Sea of Stars is charming, but I’d say it doesn’t hold a candle to Tunic. Still worth checking out as it’s on Game Pass, but I just wanted to bring another opinion to the table
