As someone with a based educator as a partner, this kind of rhetoric and thinking pisses me off so much. Schools are so fucking harmful to children (which is a huge understatement but idk how to express it more strongly) and these kinds of people gleefully take up their position as functionally prison wardens and then have the shamelessness to blame everything on the children. Fuck these people. You literally just have to treat them like fucking human beings. School is designed to break their humanity. It says everything about YOU if you blame children and perpetuate this system.

That’s how they are raised. They tend to be nauseatingly reverential of their patriarchs (and by extension, the “great men” that run liberal democracies) as a result as well.

I mean, is this true? “western” liberal society is pretty cynical and brutal towards children, but I don’t think its fair to say this is a common feature across all humanity.

They’ve done an awesome job with the cast and paying homage to all the different games, I just find the actual gameplay very unsatisfying

I do not find the smash games after melee all that fun, Melee was something else and Sakurai watering down the gameplay for the sake of the casual gamer (despite the fact that Melee was mega popular with casual gamers already) makes me unreasonably upset.

I totally agree. Even the more privileged folks in my sphere are avoiding going out, a complete failure of the bourgeoisie to uphold the social contract of what they call “the middle class.” It’ll be interesting how that continues to evolve

I just noticed today that google (not on personal computer no judgement) is autosuggesting AI generated instructions when I was searching how to do certain things in Word. And it was, unsurprisingly, complete jumbled garbage

Agreed, I find this method especially helpful if something is going on with my pets. If you just google it or use any of the other big search engines you will get identical articles telling you that they will die and take them to the vet immediately. Answers on reddit are generally pretty good about letting you know what kinds of things like that are serious because usually at least a couple people have experienced the same exact thing.
