  • I’m ok with advertisements personally. My issue is soley with the tracking. You’re correct that this is how they pay for non paying customers but I’m focused on the morality of that monetization. Staticly inserted advertisments that don’t track you are fine. Like the old newspapers which had a simple advertisement placed there that didn’t watch you back. That’s fine.

I’d be much happier if they paywalled the article, or parts of it.

If the free version isn’t viable without immoral monetization it’s unviable. Don’t do it, or find another way to monitize.

  • Those look like they’d be really good in cherry sauce. Or is it called cherry sweet and sour sauce? You know, like the stuff you get at Chinese places meant for chicken (great on veggies and rice). Have a recipe from a random website written down somewhere I think but I’m sure it’s easy to find. Ketchup is an ingredient if it helps.

Though now I see once prepared they don’t look that crisp. Looks kinda pasta like. Marinara?

Pasta salad? Mushrooms, shredded onion, bell pepper, stewed tomato’s? Nah, not sure on that.

  • Ah shoot, thanks for the correction. I was told by a history major a while back that casting the blade would be cheaper and easier than the nails needed for a hanging platform so forgive my lack of knowledge. Your explination makes sense apologies for the likely misinfo

Last thing, as for sharpness, they were supposed to be sharpened and maintained sharp by the excecutioner. I assume that this wasn’t always the case but it was the standard. Executioners even usually owned multiple guillotines so that they could cycle through them when they wore down, repairing and maintaining the ones not in use
