The moral case for socialism isn’t going to work on the fascists cheering on these murders, but they aren’t the audience. The audience is people who aren’t very political and libs. That’s who might be receptive to socialism (especially if their material conditions prime them for it), and moral arguments like “everyone should have a roof over their head” can work.
