Probably. They need to find a way to protect the instance from stuff like this. Also applies to larger instances.

EndeavourOS on my desktop, Red Hat and Ubuntu on servers(at work).
Really awesome! Another clear benefit of the fediverse/activitypub.
Interesting. The place I work at mostly use RHEL, with Rocky as an option for customers not wanting to pay for RHEL support. Will look into Suse’s offering once it arrives.
Alma and Rocky have been around for a while already. Most people I know moved over to those after Centos went EOL. Not sure what Suse will do that these don’t already do.
Suse Linux Enterprise Server has been around for a long time. https://www.suse.com/products/server/
Very interesting. Wish them all the best on this endevour.
^ I’ve used Syncthing for years, works like a charm.
Gonna be using both for a while I think. Stopped using reddit on my phone after the api changes forced 3rd party apps to shut down(RIP Sync for Reddit). Only using Reddit on my desktop, using Lemmy on both desktop and android (via LittOff for now, will switch once Sync for Lemmy is out!).
I hope account migration across instances becomes a thing.
