So which part is actually the joke? Was repeatedly asking people for an AI style summary the joke? Because it wasn’t. On the other hand it still sounds like you believe in this Hearts of Iron IV Mearsheimer stuff based on the followup. You must be a kid or something throwing out this absolutely barebones knowledge of what’s going on in Myanmar while also making bold “serious” assertions about countries being “destroyed” in order for China to grow. They have demonstrated they do not have to do this, which I contrast with the Arghiri school of world systems and the Mearsheimer style international relations people, who project this need for exploitation and conquest on to a country which encompasses enough resources to achieve limited autarky. I don’t actually find anything you’ve said funny period so I would really appreciate a “synopsis”, since apparently we are comrades.
I wonder where Frank Herbert got his inspiration
Actually it’s funny you mention mistaking them as socialists, one of the podcasts I’ve seen posted here, Radio War Nerd, I forgot to mention here that they tried to imply socialists should have critical support for the TPLF in Ethiopia (they use child soldiers and are allied with US evangelical neocons) because they used to be Maoist aligned… decades ago.
I worry that Myanmar could end up getting the same kind of sloppy treatment. I haven’t seen any serious discussion of it. The usual “they had a genocide against Muslims under the US regime as well as the new junta and it is complicated” comes up for sure. Seems like a product of Voice of America and RFA funding, this awareness, moreso than research, as Manipur should get mentioned as much when people talk about the worldwide Islamaphobia going on
I do not know you. Anyways, good, not interested (still would feel obliged though) in retreading arguments with either Arghiri or John Mearsheimer fans tonight. I was not under the impression Myanmar is socialist. Was expecting something like framing the China-friendly militias on the border as destabilizing the country. As far as destabilizing regional influences, I point the finger at Thailand copying US aid legislation.
Since this is “apparently” (no need to source anything if you use this word by the way) now the place to put stuff that won’t get engagement on Formerly Twitter:
Is it true the global economy will collapse if Iran strikes regional oil assets? State your reasoning below.
I have 32 dozen accounts.
China will only reach superpower status (???) once it collapses (???) both Myanmar and Thailand
Well you’re certainly no Arghiri Emmanuel… what on earth is your basis for these remarks? Does this stuff just come to you? I saw you elsewhere here demanding people read articles for you so that you might comment on them. Interesting research method I must say.
Also re: @[email protected]
I want to be able to drag around folders into other folders and select multiple feeds at once. Fluent has one of the best ways of displaying a completed feed. I still use CommaFeed to organize my feeds and edit the OPML document from it in a text editor because the organization of the nested folders is still crap.
I want to, for instance, select one folder to export it as an OPML file
Not very good for organizing more than a few feeds
The thing is you have now multiple times admitted you either do not comprehend my posts or don’t try, think I am Russian, and have no strategy other than this, and repeating ”u mad" and “no u”. I could replace you with a flowchart.
You clearly lack basic reading comprehension.
I don’t understand anything you’ve said to me.
Before you start accusing other people of being illogical you may want to make it through one comment you didn’t make 12 times already without contradicting yourself or making comical tirades like this. If you seriously think that your game of peek-a-boo where you join a conversation, contribute more racist jingoism and act like you have nothing to do with it is believable, I expect that you have some major social limitations related to theory of mind. Your bullshit is not believable, you can barely even convince yourself.
You know you are rhetorically defenseless and you are essentially begging me to believe what you are saying, which is nothing.
I think the most likely culprits would be the publishers who have been going after them, or the intelligence firms which are annoyed with archive showing up in their surveillance graphs and being one of the most accessible forms of news media piracy. I don’t feel like I have the full picture.
You are indistinguishable from a bot, they need to implement a captcha on every post.
This could easily have been one of your prior replies pasted. Have you ever heard of Mike Gallagher by any chance? I didn’t realize Fox News was denouncing neocolonialism and celebrating the technological development of China and Russia.
The bathroom break part is particularly funny. I guess you look down on people who can’t post at their job. You must be quite a softhanded little pedant.
Also it is kind of weird having no tools for friending or following people even if just in private lists.
You’re telling me about the real world when you are over there thinking that neoconservatives want resource, industrial, and technological independence for low income countries. This is the problem with your addiction to propaganda right here. You think it is the real world. It is the lens through which you see what is right in front of you.
Comments RSS or browsing, and modlog filters are really the only main UI things that stand out to me as jank.
The apps suck compared to the normal UI in browser but I like downloading more buttons for my phone and smashing that share button. Fedorager can handle links decently similar to the Mastodon/Misskey lookup that works on most URLs from other instances. Apart from rapid fire posting that is all about all they are good for. I guess hiding read posts is a lot easier in apps. It works like read on scroll for RSS stuff. Also Eternity saves your place in the timeline like most Mastodon and Misskey apps do.
My point is it’s the exact same reflex coming from propaganda addicts. You can’t think for yourself. No wonder you can’t tell the difference between stream of consciousness ranting and cut and paste responses
Interesting policy of wreaking destruction upon every “regime” that doesn’t align with your hypocritically professed values, irrespective of the history of the country and how the group you want wiped out came to power in the first place.
There is a problem though, that your wish to isolate these states from diplomacy and trade does nothing more than create stripped-down capitalist states, at the mercy of London and Wall St. and their blob, the conditions and the political influences that produce these “left” and “right” neoliberal parties (for neocons are a variety of liberal, economically, despite your ahistorical use of the term). Your whole approach is mindlessly destructive and counterproductive.
The endgame of this strategy looks like Milei, like post-Gaddafi Libya. Your approach always results in starvation, rape, and murder of the population, and this collapse of society allows far right groups easy pickings.
