You are right parents shouldn’t say this to kids directly but I do think they can illustrate that they aren’t all powerful and depending on the maturity of the kid go into some of the realities of the world we live in.
I was also just trying to remind younger folks that their parents are human and have flaws and my be worthy of forgiveness for those flaws.

Well, it was mostly narrative and started with a screenshare over discord. “Ok, this is what you are seeing. What do you want to do?” We pretended all the cars and stuff were where they were in the picture and I’d bump them down abit in the direction they wanted to go every turn. We didn’t get too deep into how fast can the bad guys go with celerity and stuff because jumping in front of a moving car is a great way to get run over as one ghoul learned. The end of the chase was an abandoned shopping mall that they knew was in the area where they could be a little more blatant in their power use. Fun little scene.
My favorite was the security tools with their new AI data protection features. “We scan your data and put it in AI to keep it safe from AI!”
I led a game with a car chase via Google Street view. So much fun.

Well, first off interfering with public broadcast stuff is a no-no. Secondly, the zero is probably not the platform at least without buying a lot of hardware. Targeting a specific frequency and locally flooding with interference is possible but you are also screwing with everyone else locally.

Parents are humans with their own flaws and backstories. They’ve had (presumably) 20 years of the worlds bullshit flung at them before you entered the picture. Can they be nice? Sure. But as you become an adult try to forgive them for the times they failed. Chances are they were doing the best they could with what they had at the time.
As a parent I try to listen with an open mind and admit when I’m probably a little biased. I still get called out and grump about it.
