Keep going! I wrapped those up earlier this year and still miss Vins exploits. Worth it and I wanted more. I need to get through storm light before listening to the next generation of mistborne.
I’m working on the way of kings, Caladan is the freaking man, can’t wait to see how he develops. His little wind spirit just let us in on what she really is… not going to leak storm light here though.
I am following his recommended cosmete order so tress and warbreaker were - nice stand alones that reminds me of Pratchett. Also great tidbits about the cosmere.
I’ll be on Brandon books at least another year I think. Thanks to his work on WoT.
From the article.
We have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected. The alternative, however, is simply untenable," said the letter, which was first reported by USA Today.
Remember what he did with TS clearance and his children. The alternative is a national security risk.
They call it the 1 star state for a reason. -guy from Houston
Ok thats 1 use case… now what are the defaults and contraints/triggers for a 17 year old account? Im not moving goalposts im just saying idk if its an absolute and I have no clue when those setting were introduced.
Yeah I’m pretty certain it is not true. I think it turned itself on after a buddy bought me that Catherine game. Which was funny AF and a good play. I’m sure I could disable it but I always enjoy the wtf when it pops in my que. Plus it prompted flip witch which looks pretty good on my backlog.
With a simple NPV calc it’s obvious why the dlc is a complete waste of time. I mean we could easily afford to hire another team that will quickly provide positive cashflow, but then the producers are going to wonder if consumers are spending less on x because of y, and x is what we used to project future revenue numbers to our board. If we don’t reach the x projection and I get canned then I’ll always regret having tried y. I mean sure y superceded all expectations, and made millions, but it also had like 800k in overhead. We should probably just lay of 300 developers who are willing to work 60 hour weeks for 40 hours of pay and decrease the level of qa/QC time on x so we can get started on x2 and push into prod, nevermind the bugs. Also I’ll need you to work Sat because the system keeps throwing exception errors
Never thought I’d say this but the personalities are great to. It’s like a worlds fair of cool dudes who can do unbelievable shit
IDK about this one. The sequel (which is definitely canon /s) she lives in a mental institution from her severe delusions. at the end of the original she wakes up from her episode surrounded by loving family and all of those broken fantasy men are farm hands concerned about her. - just a joke
that looks super close. Im going Sat!!. Cheers friend.
Omg!! Please tell me you know who makes that blue blanket. I have the same one since college 20 years ago and love it. It has almost no feathers left and I don’t care, but if I can get another I’ll be insanely happy. Haven’t been able to find that thing anywhere. Also I had an 18 yo black cat too that I lost last year, so that pict I did a double double take on.
you are wrong, nowhere am I advocating for anything. I’m saying human overpopulation will lead to our doom. This response is why I don’t really care about sustainability anymore. I’m not having kids, feel free to keep your head buried in the sand. Asshat
Technology isn’t going to save humanity. Greatly reducing population size by limiting reproduction is the only chance for a long future for humans. Thats the most direct path, but also at odds with all of our forms of government and economics. China couldt afford to keep doing it and they understand this. Its the same with the earths ecology. We would need a massive enlightening and there are far too many material and lifestyle choices and campaigns to sway people away from our staus quo. Humanity is doomed by human greed and jealousy, it always was. But thats fine, once you come to terms with it, and if you caught it before having kids, its a pretty freeing understanding.
That’s a lot of words for saying some people and groups of people that also identify as a non believer can be really arrogant pricks. my response is, I agree, and this is true of basically ANY and most groups of peoples. It would be a simple task to ‘what about’ your generalization here by pointing out the many cruel, dismissive and disrespectful things thiests say and truly believe about others and their metaphysical doom.
A lot of atheists do not appreciate being a target of proselytizing and having what they feel is nonsense projected at them and their families. They don’t appreciate dogmas impacting laws, and history has shown the atrocities religious fervor can lead to when mobilized at a state level. People fear and often direct blame and scorn at the wrong people this again is true of most large groups. You maybe feel a target by those who have generalized you and your beliefs? Why perpetuate the cycle with more stereotypes that non believers will inherently act in a way?
We can’t know everyone’s experiences, none of us know where others are coming from, so remaining respectful and tactful is important when discussing things like religion and politics. We must keep in mind a lot of what we read online is written by children who are finding themselves and their beliefs. They may be inherently immature, may want to get a rise out of you or just don’t know how to be tactful in discussion. Some of us never learn from these types of interactions. Some of us learn to try.
What is this quote in context? Why do you believe this is what atheists believe enough to reiterate it. I don’t think I’ve outsmarted anyone. I think some people believe in different things, nobody can be certain of anything other than holy words were written by men and not gods. How would you reconcile your belief that you have outsmarted non-believers. This is not deep.
Sounds like most famous structures in the city. When it was built the locals called it classless and gaudy, including the empire state and wtc. this thing doesn’t do much for me but it’s different and one more thing that makes an aging NYC distinct against new cities with modern architecture. Sure it’s a symbol of wealth and greed. So we’re some of the greatest works left from the Renaissance. However This chapel to euthanasia could be closer to wall Street.
Anybody else just get back into aoe2 in the last year and watch hera? This is basically that.
Which makes a lot of sense considering a lot of Dev shops went from waterfall oriented projects to continual devops. When fallout New Vegas came out, there were only a few MMOs that were selling horse armor. Now that has become the standard for almost all multiplayer games. Every multiplayer game now has its own in-game store to better suck dry addicts and make producers life lazier and easier. And since we’re pushing out so many buggy rapid releases, the devs need to keep working to hot fix what traditional ly would have been QAd and improved before release. This is clear to me and I have never worked in a game studio.
Good question. This still leaves questions but I found it interesting.
