Wait. Are people blaming anybody for this?
It’s everyone’s fault. Especially big corps, energy companies and some governments with less than good environmental policies that have been increasing greenhouse gas emissions for decades now. And the governments that have enabled them to do so.
And I’m running out of patience with these companies who think they own the internet and act like they can do whatever they want.
I’ve already stopped using Facebook and Twitter, and frankly I don’t care about leaving Reddit. It had become such a toxic place anyway.
I feel that because KBin/Lemmy is new, people tend to be more positive and optimistic and helpful.
