same here. Making my Tamil more fluent made my English worse. Learning French made both worse. Using English more made my French worse, trying to pick it up again made both worse again 😂
Also, context switswitching is a bit difficult for me. :D

61·23 days agoThis. There have been some times where I wanted to say something, but was afraid or going against the hive mind. I get that it’s easy (just type and post), but I didn’t want to be hounded over it.

2·1 month agoI would recommend looking at the PineTab2. The keyboard is detachable though, bud it does come with linux. I’m not sure if the specs are completely what you are after, but could be worth a shot.
here is the documentation for the PineTab2 if it interest you: https://pine64.org/documentation/PineTab2/_full/

Linux@lemmy.world•What have you been doing on Termux lately?English
2·1 month agoSSH-ing into my servers when i don’t have a laptop, vim for text documents, some quick file management when I feel like doing it through the cli or programmatically, ffmpeg whenever I need it, I’ve also got yt-dlp for when i need it.
now I have a bit of courage left over to remove the headphone jack from all phones.
…you MONSTER …
you could just block the [email protected] community, if you haven’t already done so. Don’t think you can do much else on Lemmy. On PieFed, there are at least keyword blocks, but even then that isn’t a perfect solution.
That is very sweet / romantic imo. ♥️ happy 4 u

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is that one software that you are using for 10 years and still loving it?English
3·1 month agoI have actually. Mineclonia too. it’s what I go to now instead of MC (for singleplayer at least). it is quite amazing to me how seemingly complex features are quickly added.

1·1 month agoI also recommend QOwnNotes in addition, mostly because it’s lightweight. I found that if you wouldwant to do handwriting, xournal++ or Rnote works well. Rnote has an upper hand because it has an infinite canvas feature, kind of like onenote
I was wondering the same thing. I would assume so since it’s under an image of Epstein.
I think (I may be wrong here) that Debian wild be good enough for beginners. Their stable branch is, well… stable, and i didn’t run into that many issues (I think it would only be when you want to run stuff that isn’t either a flatpak or in the repos, like i tried to do with
howdy). Testing would also be good ,but expect a few issues.
I think endeavor OS could also do well. in my experience, the install process was easy, kinda like Debian (the first distro I installed). Dare I say it is easier than (or maybe slightly comparable to) Arch with
archinstall?

I thought graphene os has sandbox for google play services? Couldn’t you use that with a qr code scanner and whatever else you need to bypass their attempts at locking down the ecosystem entirely, at least on GOS?
