I got a ThinkPad L14G1 AMD and it kinda slaps. Picked it up for $200 on eBay last year. It’s been a faithful companion for my workshop ever since. Threw Debian with GNOME on it and it runs like a champ. Couldn’t recommend a ThinkPad more highly.

It does here on occasion. In my experience in the past, it can completely shield someone that should’ve absolutely been banned, but wasn’t. In the situation I speak of, my opinion was invalidated because I’m white and they were a POC. I was completely unaware this individual was a POC to begin with, just that they were spewing toxic shit into the comm I was in and that I would ban in a heartbeat if they weren’t a mod. I’m still extremely sour about it to this day because that person 100% should’ve been thrown out.

Why wouldn’t I be afraid that the admin team hasn’t had some form of transphobia kicking around in it when I got banned shortly after I attempted to defend my trans comrades with the following text.

The admin team needs combed through for transphobia immediately. Between the anonymous comment and this where an admin misgenders AlaskaBall, there’s clearly an issue that needs addressed. If you folks want to continue being known as the transfriendly instance, it’s time to act like it.
