I don’t think that the dishonesty and hypocrisy is actually lost on them. The difference is that the US is always the “Good Guy”, and whatever enemy of the moment is the “Bad Guy”. When the bad guy does it, it’s because they only do bad things. When the good guy does it, it’s because they had no choice. It also makes it easy to just make up whatever you want about the bad guy, such as this garbage, even when they’re actually doing what they claim the bad guy is doing.

Still heavily involved with stardew valley 1.6. I’m not playing any multiplayer games, but I have been dabbling with a bit of suzerain. I’ve pissed off pretty much everyone who isn’t a radical leftist, and I suspect that I’m about to be ousted in a military coup soon. It’s fun.

Probably start writing something about how the game romanticises capitalism, then pop off to the pub or play another day and never finish writing it.

Yeah. It’s basically free DLC. It adds a lot of new mechanics and items, and some new in-game events. It’s changed the game quite a bit.

Denuvo is a hard pass for me. Which is truly a pity, as it was #1 on my wishlist for a very long time.

I’m playing a lot of Stardew Valley right now. It’s been a rough year, and the new patch is exactly the kind of thing I want in my life right now.

For the upcoming year, I’m very much looking forward to Frostpunk 2 (I played the beta last week, and it was great), and the upcoming Victoria 3 DLCs/patches.

I’m so tired.

Yeah, when I started playing, many hundreds of hours ago, I thought oxygen was going to be the focus of the game. Then I started to lose bases to the creeping heat death… Then material shortages… Now it’s basically a materials science sandbox, where I transfer heat around to do useful things. It’s a really unique game.

I’ve been playing Victoria 3 and a bit of Oxygen Not Included. I mostly play strategy and city builders these days. But I still have Zelda in my backlog (I’m about half done), as well as Assassin’s Creed: Mirage.

I guess my most recently completed game would be Dave the Diver, as most of what I play are infinite time sinks. It’s a fun game, and I loved the cast of characters. It was about the right length I think, and the game ended right when I was starting to get a little bored of it. I might pick it up again when the DLC is released though.

Unless you’re blonde or going grey. I really wish I’d gotten started earlier in life, but I’d already started going grey when I did laser. The laser got most of it, but I had to finish with electro. Much more costly, painful, and time consuming, but effective on all hair.

EDIT: LOL! I just tried to set my bio to use the hexbear pronoun tags per this post and I just found out that I’m banned too. Irritating, but not the end of the world. I still love my comrades here, and many on hexbear. Just some power drunk anarchist mods with no dialectical analysis.

I’m on a drug that costs even more than that. The whole process is bizarre, and appears to be scams all the way down.

What happens for me is that my insurance covers a big chunk of it, which still leaves me with a bill for thousands of dollars. But the drug manufacturer provides me with a card that covers that amount. So the whole thing costs me $5 out of pocket.

The aim seems to be inflating the drug prices to an insane degree to extract more money from the insurance companies. Who then fleece my employer for more money. Who then pay me less, as the insurance is such a huge benefit. And I can’t afford to lose that insurance, so they have a captive employee. And I’m supposed to marvel at all the money I saved.

I recognise your name, so you aren’t that unknown. Especially because I’ve been fairly quiet here as well though recently, aside from my comm. Life’s just busy and hard, and it takes me about an hour every day to write my post. Instead of spending all my free time online trying to fix the world’s problems, I can have a bit of me-time now. It’s honestly done wonders for my mental health. I hope it’s the same for you.

But I also wanted to mention that I’ve had my own run-ins with hexbear as well, so I very much empathise. I don’t know what you did, but it’s so easy to run afoul there for absurd reasons and have a million people insulting you. It’s hard to disengage when you see them as comrades.
