Nope .
I don’t think the 5th International is forming any time soon.🔜
That’s how I read it too.
Reminder:
In August 1945, the United States dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, becoming the first and only nation to use nuclear weapons during wartime.
The electoral system is broken. Both parties and the government are captured by corporations and beholden to their donors. They no longer serve the people, they serve their donors. I wish I had an answer as to the solution. But everything I think of ( ranked-choice, campaign finance reform, compulsory voting) will be circumvented by special-interests and lobbying.
It’s your vote. No one else’s. And Harris didn’t earn it. That’s not your fault. It’s hers, and the Democratic Party.
It’s absolutely on the ballot:
Poll Shows Voter Support for Harris Would Grow If She Backed Arms Embargo on Israel.
The Leahy Law for those interested.
I guess we’ll see in 4 days if disarming Israel should have been on the ballot.
I voted for Harris. Did you know there are ways to advocate for Harris without excusing the genocide?
Where’s Van Helsing when you need them?
You didn’t sing this. I’m onto you “TrueTomBombadil.”
Say that back to yourself out loud, and see if it still sounds right.
In this video, I challenge the dismissive label of ‘single-issue voting’. I break down how a focus on an issue like genocide reveals deeper political and moral stakes, rejecting the idea that elections are merely a choice between the ‘lesser of two evils,’ and offering my reasoning—and hope—for refusing to play the game.
Jay Shapiro explains this well in a video:
Voting/Electoral Fetishism replaces actual political action:
Issues, policies, and outcomes are all carefully manufactured and managed by a small number of power elites. The media, political parties, security forces (psych-ops), even the mafia and intellectual and artistic elites all work together to shape a political simulacrum within which our limited discourses and actions circulate. source
The Virginia program was purportedly intended to remove noncitizens—who already cannot legally vote—from the rolls.
I thought the 4th was slender man, but I’m not sure now.
That’s dystopian
