Depends on the definition intended, but other adjectives could probably describe it better.

Yes! I had totally forgotten about the instant pang of shock and anger I would feel when that happened.
What is a nearby harbour? I googled it but nothing came up.
We have them in the UK. They are equivalent quality coffees to the coffee shop they are branded with.
Not quite as nice as a decent non chain coffee shop and they only use cow milk, but they aren’t bad.
I could see 3 out of 4 of them but I’m not colour blind…
Not sure I agree with you that it was that bad, but I love the strength of your reaction.
I think plan based is the product line. So anything in that product line won’t have animal products in it and is safe for vegans.
Approximately how many men did you have to bum before you found the taste of cigarettes awful?
It was horrible to watch. You make sensible suggestions in your post, I just think breed bans are the sort of knee jerk reactions that politicians love because it looks decisive and isn’t a difficult decision. Unlikely to achieve anything in the long run, the mastiff in this video isn’t even the breed that is getting banned.
The issue needs to be investigated, understood and properly addressed.
I’m not going to get into the dangerous dog breed debate. In my view it isn’t a coincidence that there were lots of warnings about the mass breeding and purchase of puppies during covid leading to a lack of socialisation and neglect, and what we are seeing 2 years on.
The dog ownership landscape changed during covid, quicker than any regulation could keep up.
It’s far from guaranteed, but it is a risk. The bigger problem is that national discourse has been dragged so far to the right that the alternative party (Labour) won’t be the breath of fresh air that we so desperately need.
So what stopped you wearing your BLM shirt?
Ouch!
I suspect there will now be a criminal investigation into manslaughter charges against the management. There was a lot of concerning evidence around your point during the trial but it is a process. The innaction that facilitated these murders sound like an absolute shambles.
Modern designs can also do load-following power.
I think this is a maybe in terms of what the grid needs. Will be great if nuclear is built that genuinely supports system demands.
Diversity makes a healthy grid.
Couldn’t agree more.
Not sure about the 100% point but you will certainly need long term storage which is an unsolved problem. A point I wanted to make was that with enough renewables installed you have the baseload. You would also have an excess of production at peak times that would be useful to store long term.
My personnal view is that a sensible energy mix should have some nuclear but I don’t think it is the key to solving our future energy requirements and should be minimal as it isn’t good value.
A for effort, execution needs some improvement
You will need long term storage in both cases. Nuclear can’t act as a peaker because you can’t quickly ramp up or down the generation. Nuclear can only perform as baseload which, in theory, could be provided by a renewable energy mix if the install base is high enough.
I don’t disagree with your point that it isn’t a simple direct comparison but any sensible energy mix will still require storage. I find it difficult to see the economic case for nuclear if renewables can be installed in sufficient quantities, given that nuclear is roughly 4 times as expensive as solar and wind.
My dad went for cumin instead of cinnamon for his apple crumble. Then he finished his whole bowl telling us it’s fine. Everyone obviously left theirs.
We’ve never let him live it down.
