I too have been using Revanced but I’m not experienced with updating third party apps. How is it done?

I agree that defederation should be a last resort. With the ability for individual users to block other users, communities, and even instances (currently dependant on the app you use) this really seems like it should fall on the individual to tailor their feeds. Of course no one should give a platform to bigoted speech. However, this can come from any instance and from what you’ve said about the admins of hexbear it would seem they are putting in a good faith effort to moderate. Overall, I’m against defederation at this time.

I’m not sure about EU specific but I’m currently using a Tushy brand bidet and it’s extremely simple and wonderful and their website and manuals are full of shitty puns! Also, consider one with a feminine setting as I’ve heard they’re extra helpful.

I haven’t seen this mentioned yet but the most extreme members of each party, the activists, are largely who chooses who ends up on the ballot because they are the groups motivated to vote in the Primaries. Republican primary voters mostly believe abortion should be illegal so if a candidate wants to be on the ticket in the general election then that is the group they have to win over. This puts the Republicans in a tough position in 2024 since their position on abortion is so out of step with the majority of the country, especially independents who will likely be the deciding votes on who gets the office.

I really liked Connect but it kept crashing when I got too far down my feed. I’ve been on Jerboa since and the last updates gave it the more polished feel like Connect has.

We play a whole lot of MCR, Blink, Fall Out Boy, Panic!, and others but of course we have to throw in some crowd pleasers for the bar regulars. We’re starting to add some Killswitch Engage to mix it up though!
