It’s very easy:
- Get yourself a DangerousThings xEM implant: it’s a glass implant with a T5577 chip inside, which is reprogrammable to be compatible with most 125kHz RFID chips out there (in fact, it’s probably what’s in your cat)
- Get a Proxmark3 RDV4
- Scan your cat’s FDX-B chip’s ID
- Get the chip implanted by a body modification shop (DangerousThings has a list of approved partners who can perform the implantation). It’s a 10-second affair with a big needle. No biggie.
- After a few days to 2 weeks, when the swelling has subsided and your chip registers with a solid signal on the Proxmark3, reprogram your chip as a FDX-B chip with your cat’s ID.
Not in Trump’s America.
