Got it. I am all the way in Indiana in the US. Our chubs over here are generally small fish. I love little streams, so your spot looks great.

If you don’t mind me asking where were you fishing, geographically speaking. We have the fantastically named horny creek chub around me but I have not caught one that large.

I have caught some of these guys before too. It seems to always be smaller fish, not sure what is up with them.

What did you catch him on?

My old man always gives me a hard time about the size of my fish and the inches I tell him. So I have to put my hand in there as I know it is about 10 inches between my thumb and my pinkie. But I just love catching them, big or small I have a good time so never stress getting a good measure unless it is an absolute beast.

Really small hands. It is a 8 inch bass.
