We shit on Texas everytime they talk about seceding. Don’t be as dumb as those people.

I looked but didn’t see that in writing for my change healthcare situation, but I sure didn’t take the free monitoring because I’m waiting for the class action, and I have assumed that would disqualify me.
It’s just insulting. Sorry we may have fucked up your life and you have no recourse, but here’s a sticker.
I think that exactly what they are saying, but it misses the whole point. Yes, either protections would be great to prevent against this and no it’s not illegal, but it’s heinous and TikTok should be lambasted. The poster is essentially victim blaming because of their assumed jobs, pay, and because their misfortune is not illegal. It’s just a really bad take, even if it’s not technically wrong.
You’re not doing your home country any favors. Your inability to understand the situation is astounding really. Where are you from that made you so damn smart?
I’m over this, "we were too incompetent and failed at our job, so your personal information is in the hands of a bad entity. Sry, here’s “monitoring”.
No. How about you fucking pay me and suffer consequences instead? If you can’t afford to pay thousands to every affected individual and continue being a business, you don’t get to be a business anymore. Equifax and Change Healthcare are two companies I did not opt into using, but had to, and they both fucked up and lost all of my most sensitive information. People should be in jail and I should have thousands of dollars more in compensation. Instead, I got $7 from Equifax and offered free monitoring from CHC. Make it so it’s debilitating when sensitive information is lost, and maybe places would take security more seriously.
I would quit on the 6th day. I’d show up to my shift for 5 and then not be there on 6. I guess I’d do that until I got fired, but I would never be there on the 6th day.
Cared enough to comment. Lol.
12 times in 12 months is not a high amount and the amount of cholesterol gained from eating the equivalent in mcdoubles is negligible to my diet as a whole. There are people that go at least once a week.
I agree up to the point that someone could use Facebook for the parties and stuff, and then not use any of the main page stuff. I have Messenger because that’s the prime option for those I know, but I don’t use it for anything but messaging and don’t have a Facebook.
Someone making the “made up words” argument in the first place doesn’t deserve to be met in the middle. By doing so gives them merit.
Dogpiling, sure, but not playing dumb. If someone uses a bullshit argument like, “those are made up words” you shut that down by saying “all words are made up”. It’s completely indefensible and true.
How is telling someone that all words are made up, not just the ones they are angry about, not calling them on their shit in a real way? In cuts straight to the point and is undeniably factual. It can turn to more conversation on the topic if it’s worth the effort. As science progresses, people make up words to explain new discoveries, so all words are made up.
Treating someone like a child that’s acting like a child is how to deal with children.
I will give this a good look. Thanks for the detailed response. I’m working on degoogling, but some products I’m not willing to move on from because the quality is just better, so I’m happy to have something to look into here.
For sure. It’s not that I frequent McDonald’s, maybe a dozen times a year with traveling, but now I have another, non health related reason to actively avoid them.
More of my bad habits should have corporate slipups to turn me off to them. Ideally not at the expense of others but maybe they all just say something heinous and then double down.
I guess I’m done eating McDonald’s for a while… Been easier with the high prices, but this make it super easy.
Same result, way less effort.
Still fun
That makes sense. I never put any thought into it other than knowing I had to carry it.
Usually if there is a lien against the title, you’re required to carry full coverage, and liability only when you own the title.
Can you give me an alternative that you truely think is better than google maps, not just alternative, something that is objectively better?
I do agree with the sentiment and all of the points are valid. I think talking about it as secession detracts from those points. Highlighting that California pays in way more than it takes is important especially in the context of not receiving aid for malicious reasons.
